We are delighted to announce that SunVit-D3 is sponsoring an important new study into cycling, run by sports endocrinologist Dr. Nicky Keay. The new study seeks to examine hormones such as testosterone, Vitamin D and bone density levels in cyclists.
The study, which will take place over a year, will be aiming to provide actionable recommendations that cyclists can use to improve their health and performance.
This information could be very useful to cyclists, and the study even offers some benefits to its participants, of which they’re still actively seeking. If you’re a male cyclist and you hold a 2nd cat or higher racing licence, then you’re eligible to take part in the study.
Participants will receive two full body scans, as well as two blood tests, to assess their body composition and hormone levels. They will then be given advice on their diet and nutrition, as well as exercises to improve their bone health.
If you think you would be interested in participating in this study, an application form can be found here.
