With the introduction of SunVit-D3, D3 Vitamin LLP can provide healthcare professionals with one of the most superior products available.

What is a healthy level of Vitamin D3?

Nutritional adequacy for vitamin D is based upon the measurement of the metabolite 25-Hydroxyvitamin D. Leading experts recommend that 25-Hydroxyvitamin D concentrations should be at least 75-80 nmol/L (30-32 ng/mL).

Dosage Guidelines

The new recommended levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D can be achieved with the administration of daily doses of vitamin D3 that are substantially higher than those found in common multivitamins and calcium supplements.

In light of trials and research, it is recommended that in order to maintain the correct levels of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D, one SunVit-D3 tablet of 1000IU is taken per day. Once the body has the correct levels of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D, it will flush out any that is not needed.

Fatty fish, vitamin supplements and calcium supplements containing vitamin D can all be taken along with SunVit-D3, without any risk of vitamin D overdose. The safety of daily doses ranging from 25 to 200 µg (1000-8000 IU) has also been documented.

"SunVit-D3 has a higher daily dosage of D3 than most other supplements, and for that reason it is my brand of choice."
